Rajendra Patil
Engineer, founder and advisor on AI governance, agent infrastructure and security.
I spent about ten years at Google building large-scale distributed systems and core infrastructure behind many of its products. I then joined NVIDIA as a Principal Software Engineer, leading architecture for an agentic AI product suite.
In July 2026 I left to run Sparcle full time. Sparcle builds Bolt, a governed AI gateway that runs inside your perimeter, and Aeira, a retrieval engine that answers only from what each person is allowed to see. Building them taught me where AI projects in regulated industries actually get stuck.
Earlier I worked at SAP SuccessFactors, Yahoo and Zimbra, and on enterprise software for financial services. I know what a security review looks like from both sides of the table.
How I work
- Plain written findings, ranked by what to fix first.
- Fixed scope and fee agreed before work starts.
- Your data stays yours. I sign an NDA before seeing anything sensitive.
- I will say so if someone else is a better fit.
I run Sparcle and advise through this practice. I disclose any overlap with Sparcle's products in advance, and I do not use one client's confidential information for another.
